Such a Big Boy Now

Jude has been a lot of fun to watch lately. This is one of his weekend breakfasts with his favorite - pancakes. He was especially excited this morning so we had to capture it. This was in Mid-February.

This is Jude - moving on to bigger and better things. He loves getting in chairs these days. Today he drank from his own bottle without protest. This has been a struggle for us for the past few months. He really wants us to feed him - even while driving. Our no's end up with tantrums and flying milk bottles.

Poor Jude has had to resort to walking my shoes being that his dad's 14 is a little too large. this is him attempting again to try them on. He can only walk in them if he puts them on side-ways.

Jude has been busy learning lots of words and signs these days. Its so much fun to communicate with him both ways. He will quickly tell you when he sees a funny hat or hears a bird. He'll let you know when he spots an apple or wants an apple. If he wants more of something or he's ready to eat or drink milk....This past Thursday he learned how to say Josh, car, uh-oh, bottle, potty, spider, and book. Today he has said squirrel. He's been a lot more interested in books - his dad's physics or his board books. Most times he just likes holding them and turning the pages. He has learned how to climb his own slide and slide back down - and he keeps busy running or dancing. I'm waiting for him to learn how to just walk.
