Weekend Warriors

We had busy weekend filled with gardening, work picinic, management classes, cleaning, workout classes and time spent with maw maw. Tons of fun. Even more exciting is Jude has mastered a 9.5 hour night. Its happened 4 nights in a row now, so I'm hoping it will continue.

Josh's work picnic happened to be held at the event place that we had our wedding. So it was fun to go back and have Jude with us and show him the animals.

As for the garden, this is the first time we planted annuals. We felt like chumps last year—I think we were the only house on the block lacking color (other than green).

We might of bought plants that will die in a week and aren't worth the money invested; but that's ok. You have to start somewhere :) We liked our choices and that's what counts. It will at least keep us smiling while we have them. I think the armadillos are our worst enemies at the moment and we have an attack plan for them. Luckily the sun is mild, so hopefully they will root before the torture begins
