The Rainforest is Alive

Jude's nursery is in Jungle theme and coincidently - the popular toys out there these days are jungle theme as well -so we have them all over the house. I can't imagine what Jude's first thoughts were when entering the exhibit to see all these things come alive. Unfortunately the Tucan bird did not make an appearance - Judes worst enemy and the monkey was not available either - Jude's best friend.

And this is a shot from above.

Mom and the Boy having fun along with our twins - of course Libby is a beautiful princess and the kiddos are not twins - just the moms. Not sure if Colleen likes me calling her my twin, but she is my brand new walking buddy in our neighborhood and we have a fantastic time getting to know each other and the little ones.

Our first view from the top.

Clip of the Canopy - several butterflies are flying about. More than likely you can't make them out, but I'm sure you can imagine:)

This butterfly is an oversized fly - unfortunately I do not have a size comparison - but its roughly the size of my hands put together.

This is an "Owl" butterfly - Go RICE!

This is the what the Owl butterfly starts out like.

Butteflyies mating on museum volunteer's leg (yes, a littley racey I might add)

The End! - We had a great time exploring and enjoying our friends!

Yes, TX mosquitos near the gulf really are this big!

My Little Honey Bee...:)
